• Students first enrol in the Master of Applied Cybernetics (see admissions requirements: https://programsandcourses.anu.edu.au/2025/program/MACYB#admission-requirements)After successful completion of the first semester of the Master of Applied Cybernetics, students can apply to transfer to the Master of Applied Cybernetics (Advanced).Admission requirements:24 units of successfully completed courses from the ANU Master of Applied Cybernetics A 3-page research plan for the project, including a timeline of work across the semesterWritten confirmation of supervision from a proposed supervisor.Applicants seeking to transfer from the Master of Applied Cybernetics are required to submit a 3-page research plan for their project, including a timeline of work across the semester, and written confirmation of supervision from a proposed supervisor to CSS Student Services. Applicants meeting the above minimum admission requirements will submit a portfolio, and participate in an interview process as detailed on the School of Cybernetics website https://cybernetics.anu.edu.au/education/masters/
