    Sound English language skills are required for academic programs at Monash University. Full documentary evidence in support of English Language Proficiency (ELP) must be submitted with applications for admission and scholarship. Monash University reserves the right to seek further documentary evidence of ELP. Academic entry requirements

  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate a capacity to carry out independent research and have adequate training and ability to pursue their proposed course of study. An applicant for admission to the MPhil must have: qualified for a degree of bachelor with a minimum upper H2B (a mark of 65 or above) in an honours year in a relevant field, or its equivalent; or qualifications which in the opinion of the GRC are equivalent or a satisfactory substitute.
