Academic entry requirements

  • Entry level 1: 96 points to complete Duration: 2 years full-time A bachelor degree in law (or equivalent) from a non-Australian jurisdiction. A letter from the Victorian Legal Admissions Board (VLAB) stipulating which areas of law are required to meet the academic eligibility requirements for admission to practice in Victoria. The letter from VLAB must be dated within 24 months of submitting your application for study. Entry level 2: 72 points to complete Duration: 1.5 years full-time An Australian bachelor degree in Law (or equivalent) with at least a credit (60%) average. Entry level 3: 48 points to complete Duration: 1 years full-time An Australian JD or an Australian bachelor honours degree in Law (or equivalent), or An Australian bachelor degree in Law (or equivalent) with at least a credit (60%) average and an Australian graduate diploma in Law (or equivalent), or An Australian bachelor degree in Law (or equivalent) with at least a credit (60%) average and at least 1 year of work based relevant professional experience or other learning approved by the faculty.
