1. GRADUATE ENTRY To be eligible to apply for Graduate Entry, all applicants must: hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent overseas qualification, or be due to complete a Bachelor degree or equivalent overseas qualification before commencing the course; and have normally achieved Flinders equivalent Grade Point Average of 5.00 or above in their most recent Bachelor degree or equivalent overseas qualification; and hold a valid Australian Medical Schools Admission Test (GAMSAT) result (or North American Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) for international applicants) and meet minimum score requirements as stated in the MD Application Guide. Domestic applicants Selection for invitation to interview is based on performance in the Admissions Test. Selection for a place in the course is determined by combining the scores from the test, academic performance in the most recently completed Bachelor degree or equivalent overseas qualification and personal qualities, as assessed at interview. Indigenous Entry Stream (IES) Applicants of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent who hold a degree from an Australian university or tertiary institution deemed to be of equivalent standard, or who are due to complete such a degree before starting the course may apply for admission through the Indigenous Entry Stream. There are three elements in the IES selection process: a written application, an interview and a 4-5 week Preparation for Medicine Program (PMP). Selection for interview will be based on assessment of the written application. Selection for admission will be based on performance in the interview and in the Preparation for Medicine Program. IES applicants who have satisfactory results in GAMSAT and at interview may be exempt from the PMP. International applicants International applicants who meet the entry eligibility criteria will not be required to interview, and will be made an offer on their academic performance in their most recently completed or about to be completed Bachelor degree (or equivalent). 2. UNDERGRADUATE ENTRY PATHWAY The Undergraduate Entry Pathway is via a packaged offer to the Flinders University BCLS Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and the MD Doctor of Medicine. To be eligible to apply for Undergraduate Entry, all applicants must have succesfully completed two years of full-time study in the Flinders BCLS Bachelor of Clinical Sciences. Domestic applicants must sit a selection test and their final ranking is determined by combining scores from the test and an applicant's academic performance in their Year 12 studies. International applicants who meet eligibility criteria will be selected on the academic performance in their Year 12 studies.
