About this course

This program offers an integrated, cross-disciplinary perspective combining broad and rigorous training in the foundations of politics, philosophy and economics. You will study insights from all 3 disciplines and explore current and future global challenges. This program will equip you with versatile skills to address complex and challenging issues drawing on an historical, social, political and economic knowledge base. You may choose electives from all 3 disciplines, or opt to specialise in one discipline, earning a major in politics, philosophy or economics. All students graduate with Honours at the completion of the 4 year degree. For students who commenced in 2023 or later, the following courses contribute to the research training required by the Program Design Procedure: PPES1101, PPES2101, PPES3101 and PPES4100. These courses must be taken at UQ.
