Eligibility
Applicants must be a new international student enrolling in a Deakin degree who is a citizen of one of the eligible countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor Leste or Vietnam. Citizens of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Mauritius, Myanmar and Nepal must be residing in their home country. Applicants must meet the entry requirements for their program including English language requirements, and must have achieved at least a 75% average for undergraduate study or 80% for postgraduate study; for postgraduate study, citizens of India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Myanmar and Bhutan are eligible with a minimum 75% average. This scholarship is not available to students enrolled in Health quota programs.
