Eligibility
Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program, must be newly offered from 10 February 2026, must commence from Term 4 or Semester 2 2026 or a later 2026 or 2027 intake, and must be a full fee-paying non-sponsored student. Applicants must apply to a program on La Trobe's list of eligible courses, must not hold a humanitarian or other permanent visa, and must pass the Genuine Student assessment. Applicants are considered automatically; no separate scholarship application is required. At the Sydney campus the reduction starts from the second semester.
