Eligibility
Students from all countries are eligible. Applicants must have received an offer for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework course commencing at The University of Western Australia in 2026, and must have achieved an equivalent minimum ATAR of 85.00 or a minimum WAM of 65.00; applicants studying an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program) must have achieved a WAM equivalent above 75.00. Assessment is automatic - no separate scholarship application is required - and UWA Admissions confirms the value once final academic transcripts are received, so a conditional offer may be issued without a scholarship attached. Excluded undergraduate courses are the Assured Pathway to Medicine and the Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine. Excluded postgraduate courses are the Juris Doctor, the Doctor of Medicine, the Doctor of Dental Medicine, the Doctor of Optometry and UWA micro-credentials. This scholarship may not be held at the same time as any other UWA tuition fee reduction, academic scholarship or award, including the UWA International Student Award; where a student is eligible for more than one, UWA awards the one with the higher value. Continuation requires meeting the ongoing UWA criteria, and deferring an offer to 2027 carries no assurance that the same scholarship will be available.
