Eligibility

Applicants must be a citizen of Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uruguay, Venezuela or Vietnam, must be applying to The University of Western Australia as an international student on an Australian student visa, must study an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course offered by the University and published in the UWA Handbook, and must be enrolled in a full-time course load. Assessment is automatic when the course application is submitted - no separate scholarship application is required - and a successful award appears on the offer letter. This award may not be held at the same time as the UWA Global Excellence Scholarship; where a student is eligible for both, UWA awards the one with the higher value.
